When was the last time you had a great vacation' I don't think I can even remember my last real vacation. Well, unless you count that annual trip to the parents' house for the Christmas and New Year's holiday. You see, the key with great vacations is not only finding that ideal getaway spot, but also planning and achieving the best budget. Now, how much did you end up spending on your last vacation' Ah ha, probably too much. Well, maybe it's time you did a little recon work before taking your next big vacation. And maybe it's time you looked a little closer to home. You don't have to venture clear across the globe in order to find a fabulous retreat. Have you ever considered New England vacations' Because if you don't already live there, it can be one heck of an experience.
I recall the very first time I headed up to New York City. This is often considered the epitome of New England vacations. You surely know the routine if you've already been. You take a flight to the Big Apple, and venture down through the ever-popular Manhattan. Come on, we all want to see Manhattan. It's the nice part of New York City. You can stroll about the urban jungle in search of the latest fashion trends and fine dining. Every corner exudes that enticing java aroma. Yep, NYC can be a blast. However, as far as New England vacations go, it's certainly not the be-all end-all to getaways. There are a number of other great places to see. One of the most amazingly beautiful states I've ever stumbled across is Vermont. The Fall is the absolute perfect time to go. When the trees are changing and the air is crisp, you'll be completely blown away. When it comes to New England vacations, this has to be my favorite. Just be careful you don't get too attached, or you might end up moving there.
A visit to this part of the States also makes a great family vacation spot and there are some great travel deals available if you set aside some time to search the internet.
